A Sculptural Perspective
Living in the Pacific Northwest I strive to design art that creates a symbiosis with the natural environment by using evocative sculptural forms that will be both pleasing and interesting to the viewer at more than one angle.
I believe the product of human creativity is ART. With technology, craft and persistence I strive to take impossible ideas and imagine them into sculpture. Without over-thinking the process I explore pure expression and energy in the abstract figurative form. I sometimes question whether the creation of the object is more important than the object itself. This inquisitiveness is what drew me into the artistic world and never let’s me go.
From abstract to figurative sculpture, I am captivated by a wide variety of materials, ideas and interpretations.
